company history

First Crush winemaking experience is a division of Precision Ag, Inc. — a privately-owned Sub-chapter S corporation in Paso Robles, California.  Precision Ag, Inc. and First Crush winemaking experience are owned by Becky and Lowell Zelinski.  Precision Ag began as Precision Ag Consulting in April 2003 and became incorporated in September 2005.

Precision Ag is a vineyard management and consulting company based in Paso Robles, California.  Company president Lowell Zelinski has a doctorate in soil-plant-water relations from the University of California, Davis.  The company specializes in high-tech, viticulture products and services including soil-moisture, plant and fertility monitoring.  Most of the products distributed and services offered by Precision Ag, Inc. are sustainable and qualify as best management vineyard practices.

Becky Zelinski is the chief operating officer for Precision Ag, Inc. She markets and manages the business and its employees.  Lowell and Becky Zelinski share the same ownership interest in First Crush winemaking experience, which was formed in January 2009.  First Crush operates out of the same office as Precision Ag in Paso Robles, California and currently shares the same staff.  Seasonal, part-time help and volunteers will be used during the harvest events and local partners will be providing many of the services offered by First Crush.
